To inculcate practical competence and the confidence in handling real life complex situations, the ability to comprehend, to communicate, to-relate, to analyze, and weigh options and learning to accept responsibility for one's decisions are as important, if not more, than only theoretic academic achievements. Another vital ingredients missing from formal education is the awareness of the interaction with nature, and empathy with outdoor life away from the distractions and pollution of the city life. As a result of these deficiencies, the process of learning and growing up has become an unbearably stifling and unpleasant burden, instead of being great fun and exciting adventure. Wanderlust seeks to redress these imbalances, with your co-operation.
Wanderlust has been organizing cultural and adventure tours for school children to many interesting parts of our wonderful country. On the strength of that experience, we are now offering an affordable, enjoyable program of outdoor living for students in our very own camps and resorts in North India. The activities are aimed at education through adventure and learning by experience, comprising the following:-
1. Waterbanks Island Resort
Waterbanks Island Resort (20 Acres of Fun and Adventure, just an hour away from Delhi or 30 minutes from Gurgaon). While the relaxed air of informality adds to its charms, the hospitality of the friendly staff and the exceptional food only enhance the experience. The resort is dotted with trees, landscapes & flowers, hammocks, machaans, garden umbrellas, 50ft swimming pool with bar & bar-be-cue counters.
Conference facility: Artificial Rock Wall 30 ft. and natural rock face 100 ft.: We have a state-of-the-art Artificial Rock Wall of 10m height and 3m width made of fibre glass. This can be used to try one's hand at Rock Climbing and Rappelling for that sense of adventure and to test one's physical limits, all managed by trained experts with the best of equipment, with safety being taken care of at every moment. In addition our site has the best natural rock face in India also being used by Army and NSG to try out rock climbing and rappelling from 120 ft. Recreation facilities: The resort is equipped with Indoor games like chess, carom board, dartboard, pictionary, playing cards scrabble & pool table & in-house 10000 watt music system & dance floor. The resort has a whole host of Outdoor games like Beach Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton and Table tennis, Golf putting, bamboo rafts , fibre glass boats & fishing rods. The resort provides ample space and opportunity to organize various group games and activities like treasure hunts, forest trek, rapelling, birding, exploring the lakeinteriors on boats etc. Camel ride/Bullock cart ride into the farms and villages around or a trek into the Aravalis or a hot air balloon ride or bungee jumping and para sailing can be arranged on request. A conference centre of 4000 sq. ft. with seating capacity of 80-100 people is available for conference purposes with multiple activities like dance, bar and games and cultural shows.

Arrive Ganga Banks by lunch. Check into your riverside tented camp. Later proceed for the first rafting trip from Marine drive to the camp. You are received here by our experienced staff including trip leader & guides. After a session of briefing by the trip leader we start an interesting encounter rapids like good morning, LMT, Three blind mice. This beautiful mountain camp is located on the same ridge line as Mussorie but higher and more scenic among pine and Deodhar forests. It is 25 kms from Mussorie or 7-8 hrs drive from Delhi.
