ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 1: Arrive Port Blair

Arrival to Andamans at Port Blair Airport, Our representative will receive and escort you to the hotel. Check in make yourself comfortable, proceed to the very first beach of yours in Andamans the Corbyn'Cove Beach. In the evening witness history in the Sound and Light Show at Cellular Jail - the heroic saga of the Indian freedom struggle is brought alive in the show. Rejeev Gandhi Park Overnight stay at hotel


Day 2: Port Blair City Tour

After Breakfast, the program for City Tour begins with the sightseeing tour in and around the city like Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika) - gives a good retrospect of the history, shells, Corals marine life, geography and archaeology of these islands, Mini zoo - houses some of the rare species of endemic birds and animals found in these islands, Chatham Saw Mill - one of the oldest and largest wood mill in Asia, Forest museum - offers an insight into forest activities through scale models and displays decorative pieces made of famous woods,Anthropological Museum - displays tribal essential and artifacts, Science centre, Fisheries Museum (Aquarium) - exhibits species of marine life peculiar to the islands & Cellular Jail - Afternoon, proceed for Wandoor Beach- the island has imposing greenery and a beach that offers mesmerizing views of the sunset.


Day 3 : Port Blair / Havelock

Early morning departure by inter-island ferry to Havelock Island. On arrival at Havelock Island, our envoy will receive. After check-in at the hotel and little relax, enjoy your afternoon at the world famous Radhanagar Beach (Asia's 7th most beautiful beach). Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Havelock.


Day 4 : Havelock / Port Blair

After Breakfast, entire morning at leisure. Afternoon return back to Port Blair by inter-island ferry and transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at respective Hotel / Resort at Port Blair.


Day 5: Port Blair / Baratang / Port Blair

Early morning Visit to Baratang Island: that's a long 8 hours road drive, crossing the grand Andaman Trunk Road, covered with dense forests on both the side. In between the road journey you will cross the Habitations of one of the world's primitive tribes "The Jarawas". Crossing two islands passages via ferry boats, comes a very exiting part of the journey; the mangrove creek journey by boat leading to the Limestone Caves. Then a short trip the mud volcano in Baratang Island. And return to Port Blair………….drop to Hotel……………..


Day 6: Port Blair / North Bay Island (Coral Island)

After breakfast at the hotel, move for an enthralling journey to North Bay Island (Coral Island). Watch exotic coral and marine life (enjoy snorkeling) and then proceed to Ross Island (Ross Island, the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime Harbor Cruise (Viper Island) and drop to Hotel……………………….


Day 7: Excursion Chidiya Tapu

After Breakfast, visit Mount Harriet- the 2nd highest peaks (365 mts high) in the Andaman, which offers a magnificent bird's eye view of Port Blair's adjoining islands. Afternoon, proceed for Chidiya Tapu- where lush green mangroves and beautiful beach with breath-taking sunset creates a mesmerizing environment.


ANDAMAN ISLAND ODEYSSEY

Tucked away in one corner of the Bay of Bengal is ab archipelago of islands called the Andamans. Here are pristine islands of tropical forests lightened jewel like on the velvet blue of the sea, perfect for a holiday on it's golden mangrove beaches. The Andaman and Nicobar group of 293 islands strech over 700 kms. Rich evergreen rain forests abound the island which have abundant bird life and a multi colour under - water world of sea - life. The water is exotic shades of green, blue and turquise is like a sheet of clear glass through which one can view the coral beds. The local Islanders or the tribal people are aboroginese who have negroid features. They have their home in the jungles. Seemingly outoff from the world, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are one of the last frontiers that have resisted the onslaught of civilizations. There are areas here where no one is allowed to visit, for islands support tribals who live the way making did thousands of years ago, but islands where you can visit offer the lure of underwater coral gardens, unspoiled beaches and watersports like driving, windsurfing, fishing, angling, water sking, sailing, snorkeling, collecting rare shells on the beaches and studying underwater marine life." ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 01. Port Blair:

Arrive Port Blair from Calcutta or Madras by air. Transfer to hotel. Half day city sight-seeing tour of on thropological museum which displays the tools, models, habitats, art and handicrafts of the aboroginal tribes, the marine museum where over 350 species of sea life are carefully preserved. Harbour cruises of Ross Island and Viper Island, once used to harbour convicts. Evening son-et-lumier at the cellular jail, the bastille of India, a relic of bygone days. Overnight Port Blair.


Day 02. Port Blair:

Depart in the morning for Mt. Harriet by boat surface. Drive upto the peak of Mt. Hamlet at 1200 ft. to get a kalei closcope view of the whole of Port Blair. Two hour drive to Middle Strait passing through tropical forests and tropical forests and trial area enroute pausing to view lumber operations by elehants. Evening at leisue on the beach. Overnight at Port Blair.


Day 03. Port Blair:
Full day of the national marine park including tour of Redskin snd Jolly buoy group of picturesque islands offering exotic coral and marine life. Its virgin scuba beaches and crystal clear waters are ideal for snorkelling and diving. Optionally at liesure for sunbathing or basking the sunkissed beach. Overnight Port Blair.


Day 04. Neil and Havelock:

Morning motor boat cruise to Neil and Hevelock Island. Day free at the beutiful sandy beaches. At leisur to explore the lush green froset or underwater coral life. Overnight at Neil.


Day 05. Cinque Island:

Boat cruise to the beautiful underwater coral grandens and unspoit beaches of north Cinque islands. Great place to swim, snorkel or for scuba diving. The hillock provides a fabulous view of the isolated island, submerged coral and the scintillating sunset. Overnight at Neil.


Day 06. Port Blair:

Morning free in the lush mangroves surrounding the island at liesur at the picturesque beach and creeks. Later arrive at Port Blair. Check into the beach resort. Overnight Port Blair.


Day 07.
Fly Port Blair / Calcutta or Madras / Delhi.


OPTIONS AND EXTENTIONS


- By sea Madras / Port Blair / Madras with South India extention.
- Scuba diving and snorkelling trips or glass bottom boats.

- Shorter linearary possible by staying at Port Blair and doing day trips to other islands.
