ITINERARY DETAILSDay 1: Arrive Delhi Assistance on arrival. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Delhi. Day 2: Delhi After breakfast gear up for the morning city tour to include Humayun's tomb, Bahai temple, Qutab Minar, India Gate and Mughal gardens at Rashtrapati Bhawan. Post lunch tour of the historic city of Old Delhi to include the magnificent Red fort, the Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque and Rajghat - memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. Evening depart for the Bistro restaurant for a welcome dinner at the Hauz Khas village, the original site chosen by Ala-ud- din - Khilji in 1303 for a "Madras" - a place of learning. Deepening horizons, gentle breeze, panoramic view of the Madras and royal reservoir, lilting folk music and "Dances of India" show along with finger licking bar - be- qued delights makes for a perfect evening. Jaipur, also known as the city of victory was founded in 1727 AD by Maharaja Jai Singh II. "The Pink City" is spectacularly set within surrounding rugged hills, dotted with ancient ruined fortresses. Later visit City Palace, still the residence of the royal family, at least in part, while Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum that occupies the ground floors and outer courtyards offers rare manuscripts, Mughal and Rajasthani miniature paintings, Mughal carpets, royal costumes and textiles, arms and weapons. Visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). It is the most striking and one of the most visited monuments in Jaipur. As against the common thinking, it is not really a palace. It is a sandstone screen used as a veil by the royal women folk to watch the proceedings on the road below without being seen. Also visit Jantar Mantar, one of the five observatories that were built by the astronomical king Sawai Jai Singh in 1718. Built in stone and marble, it has numerous scientifically designed instruments to study the movement of stars. Afternoon visit Agra Fort. The Red Fort of Agra is a powerful fortress founded in 1565 by the Emperor Akbar (1556-1605) on the right bank of the Yamuna. This bastioned fortress, with walls of red sandstone rising above a moat and interrupted by graceful curves and lofty bastions, encompasses within its enclosure walls of 2.5 km, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. The citadel comprises a large number of fairy-like palaces: the Khas Mahal, the Shish Mahal, the octagonal tower of Muhammam Burj, as well as reception rooms: Diwan-i-Khas, and the many pillared Diwan-i-Am (Hall of Public Audience). Within the palatial complex, there are two very beautiful mosques of white marble, the Moti Masjid or the Pearl Mosque, constructed in 1646-53 by Shah Jahan and the Nagina Masjid built under the reign of Aurangzeb (1658-1707). If you are looking to warm-up and relax your muscles, we recommend 12-15 minutes in the dry heat of the infrared cabin. The wet heat of the steam room is effective in opening pores and awakening the respiratory system; for this, we recommend a five to six minute time frame. It is essential to follow the guidelines after having each heat treatment, you must always follow with a cold shower to ensure the body temperature is regulated. Alcoholic Beverages and Spas We recommend that you do not consume alcohol before, during or immediately after your spa treatments.
