Day 1: Delhi/Paro (by flight)
Transfer to airport for flight to Paro. This hidden treasure of the Himalayas, known as The Dragon Kingdom, is still home to an ancident style of life. Visit breathtaking views of the great peaks- Mt. Everest, Kanchenjunga, the sacred Chomoihari and the Jichu Drake in Bhutan. Day 2: Paro Drive to Drukgyal Dzong (meaning victorious fortress), which is now in ruins. It was from this fort that the Bhutanese repelled several invading Tibetan armies during the 17th century. Then commence excursion to the famous Taktsang Monastery, which is a hallowed shrine for Bhutanese pilgrims. Guru Rimpoche is said to have ridden up on the back of a tigress and meditated here one thousand years ago. However, for tourists, the hike to the monastery itself is a thrilling and mystical experience Day 3: Paro/Thimpu (1 hrs. drive) Morning, visit Rinpung Dzong, a fortress monastery built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan. The Dzong houses the monastery of Paro and also the district administrative center. Then visit Ta Dzong (the National Museum). A one time watch-tower built to defend Rinpung Dzong during the inter valley wars of the 17th century, Ta Dzong has housed the nation's heritage since 1967. The museums circular shape augments varied collection displayed over several floors. After lunch, drive to Thimpu , enroute visiting Simtokha Dzong, Bhutan's most ancient fortress. Built in 1627, it was the country's first official center of social and religious education. Day 4: Thimpu Visit the main secretariat building which houses the throne room of His Majesty, the King of Bhutan and other national level offices. During the warmer summer months, the monk body headed by His Holiness, the Je Khenpo, makes its home in The Dzong. Also visit the National library,which holds a vast collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts and the Painting School, famous for traditional 'thangka' paintings. Later visit to Handicrafts Emporium, the memorial Chorten (Stupa) built in the memory of the third King of Bhutan, King Jigme Dorji Wiangchuck, popularly known as the 'Father of Modern Bhutan'. Day 5: Thimpu/Punakha (3 hrs. drive) Drive to Punakha, which was the capital of Bhutan until 1855 and is still the winter seat of Je Khenpo, the Chief Abbot. This drive crosses the 3050Mt Dochula Pass, the site of one of the most spectacular views in Bhutan. Visit to Punakha Dzong, built in 17th century to serve as the religious and administrative centre of the place. Day 6: Excursion to Wangdiphodrang (1 hrs. drive) Drive to Wangdiphodrang. It is the last town on the central highway before central Bhutan.The town is no more than an enlarged village with a few provision shops. Visit Wangdiphodrang Dzong, sitting on the top of a hill overlooking the junction of two rivers. Day 7 Punakha/Paro (2 hrs. drive) Drive to Paro, enroute visiting a village farmhouse to get an idea how Bhutanese people live .The farmhouses are very decorative, built and painted in the classical style. The houses are normally three storeyed; ground floor for the cattle, top floor is used for drying hay and the family lives on the middle one. Day 8: Paro/Delhi (by flight) After breakfast transfer to airport for flight to Delhi. Day 1: Delhi/Yangon (by flight)
Meet on arrival at Yangon international airport and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, sightseeing tour that includes the old colonial-style buildings in city center of downtown Yangon, the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years, & then visit to Shwedagon Pagoda world famous golden stupa and enjoy the sunset at there. Day 2: Yangon/Kyaikhtiyo (3 hrs. drive) Drive to Kyaikhtiyo pagoda (Golden Rock). On the way visit Shwe Nyaung Bin Nats' Shrine near Yangon. Proceed to Kyaikhtiyo (known as Golden Rock) Pagoda stands on a gold gilded boulder, precariously perched on the edge of the hill over 1100 km above sea level. Day 3: Kyaikhtiyo/Bago/Yangon (3 ½ hrs. drive) Visit to Bago, ancient MON Capital. Continue to Bago and sightseeing include Shwemawdaw, one of the most venerated pagodas in Myanmar, Shwethalyaung, the most life like reclining Buddha image and Kyaikpun Pagoda, which was built in 15 century by king Damazedi famous for its background story. On the way back to Yangon, visit to Pottery making workshop. Day04 Yangon/Delhi (by flight) After breakfast board flight to onward journey. Day 1: Delhi/Kathmandu (by flight)
Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is in fact two cities, Patan and Kathmandu. Day 2: Kathmandu City tour of Kathmandu visiting Durbar Square, complex of palaces, courtyard and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries use to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu, Swoyambunath Stupa and Patan City. Swoyambhunath Stupa, is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal enlisted in the World Heritage Site. Patan City is an enchanting melange of palace buildings, artistic courtyard and former palace complex. One remarkable monument here is a 16th century temple dedicated to the Hindu God Lord Krishna. Day 3: Kathmandu/Chitwan (3 hrs. drive) Drive to Chitwan. Visit to Tharu Village and witness the Tharu Cultural Performance, the Elephant breeding centre. Day 4: Chitwan/Pokhara (3 hrs. drive) Drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the Fishtail Peak rising behind it create an ambiance of peace and tranquility. Pokhara is a perfect place to see the panoramic view of Himalayan region including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Pokhara City including Mahendra Cave, David Fall, Tibetan Refugee camp, Seti George, Guteshowr cave and 1 hour boating at Lake Phewa. Day 7: Pokhara/Nagarkot (4-5 hrs. drive) Nagarkot is situated at east of Kathmandu and at an altitude of 2175 m above sea level, Nagarkot is a popular destination for the view of sunrise and sunset and panoramic view of Himalayas including Mount Everest. Day 8: Nagarkot/Kathmandu via Bhaktapur (1 ½ hrs. drive) Drive back to Kathmandu. Day 01 - Airport / Kandy
On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be met with our representative and drive to Kandy. En-route visit the Pinnwala Elephant Orphanage. This elephant Orphanage is setup especially for Abandoned or injured baby elephants. They are reared here and are trained to become working animals. Feeding and bathing in the river provide the best opportunities to see the animal's close-up. Check in to the hotel in Kandy. In the evening city tour of Kandy. Visit the Temple of the Holy Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, the Gem Museum, and traditional batik-making factory. A stroll in the market place would also be interesting. Late evening experience a colourful cultural show where you can really taste the Sri Lankan culture. Over Night in Kandy. Day 02 – Kandy/ Bentota After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Kandy. Thereafter continue your journey to Bentota / Wadduwa via the countryside. In the evening at leisure on the beach. Over Night in Bentota. Day 03 – Bentota Facing the Indian Ocean, a tropical lagoon and major river Bentota offers water sports possibilities nowhere else to be found. Apart from swimming, body-surfing or diving in the sea, you can jet-ski, windsurf, para sail or enjoy a romantic river safari on the river and lagoon.
